Well it happened this morning. One of our favorite webhosts had a nameserver issue that was intermittently affecting many of their client (yours truly included). Unfortunately for us, this issue was taking place just as I was on the phone with a potential new client discussing hosting.

All you need to do is look at the nifty little timeline which shows the volume of content & posts with the term media temple. 🙂
All in all, MT is usually pretty good in the communication department and that is one of the primary issues with many of the other hosting companies. Things happen and sometimes hardware and software can act up. It is how the situation is handled that many times makes the big difference between hosting companies. At least these guys posted a video to let you know they are working on the problem and then they update their knowledge base as information becomes available.
Customer service goes a long way to keeping your clients happy, even in a terrible situation.
